Yellow bellied slider - Terrapin

When I was out fishing a few weeks ago I was told a rumor there was a terrapin kicking about on the canal near me. Wasn't quite sure myself but ive been keeping an eye out, few days ago I spotted him and didn't have my camera with me.

 

passed by today, sun was blazing and there it was perched on the same chopped down tree as before enjoying the rays
