Surely we're not paying the bbc to report on hurricanes in the atlantic ? In the medway yes it effects us here in this country

If i cant see it and it doesnt effect me its not relevant ,if it effects johny foreigner they deserve all they get for living there but why do we pay to see it here?

IE from our reporter in kabul.... Hold on why do we need a reporter in kabul and what the f are we doing being nosey in kabul ,best save money and just ignore kabul,why should i pay the bbc to send reporters on holiday to places i cannot afford to go to to see for myself if i was interested in the slightest

Its time this ludicrous tv tax was abolished and reporters holidayed in bognor

If your interested in foreign weather simply watch the foreign channel reporting it and save tax payers money for interesting stuff like puppies and funny cats in littlehampton or bath ,the reporter could then be sent by bus if it was really interesting or the owner could put the vid on youtube and the reporter could be sacked saving more money

...and to add insult to injury Chesters, when we DID have a hurricane in the Medway area (1987) the BBC told us there wasn't going to be one.

No Atlantic hurricanes formed in August for the first time since 2002.

 

Also the quietest August for Atlantic tropical storms since 1997.
