The Spanish goverment want the British goverment

to cull 4000 Ruddy ducks.

I am not happy that they want to slaughter 4000 of my closest bird cousins!

The RSPB are backing this. Why? They wont back the cull of cormorants.

 

Ruddy ducks are making the white headed duck population almost extinct due to interbreeding.

 

Cormorants are demolishing fresh water species.

This is due to SPANISH fisherman wiping out European seafish stocks which are the cormorants food.

The Spanish have the biggest fishing quota in Europe and will catch everything in the sea given the chance.

They also try and kill just about every bird that flys.

The RSPB are also going to cull hundreds of Hedgehogs on some Scottish Islands as they are eating to many birds eggs.

Its a pity they are not cormorant eggs!!!!!!!!!!!

 

The RSPB are a bunch of two faced idiots who only see their little bird world, not the whole picture and only back culls that suit them and their birdwatching members.

Saw this on the news earlier in the week.

 

Maybe entire human races should be culled as one day we'll all be mixed race!

 

And for my mongrel doggy.....shame on him for reducing the numbers of Alsations and Labradors.

just because british ruddy ducks are going to spain on holiday and humping the spanish ducks that is no reason to kill them :mad: after all that is what we brits do every year go and hump a few spaniards if the govenment want to wipe out some birds then why not wipe out the cormarants that are attacking our rivers and lakes .

They are not a native British duck.

They originate from North America.

They were introduced by one of the founders of the RSPB.
