U{PDATE!! Wife has JUST been on the phone and the laptop charger is apperently discharging LARGE blue sparks forom the charger

!! WONDER if this is MY chance to get shot of the ruddy thing under warranty?? But keep thinking anyway Peeps OR anyone want to swap a 3 month old ASAUS laptop cost $(( euros PLUS a 3 year warranty for something which works???

It is to be observed that 'angling' is the name given to fishing by people who can't fish.

If GOD had NOT meant us to go fishing, WHY did he give us arms then??

(If you can't help out someone in need then don't bother my old Dad always said! My grandma put it a LITTLE more, well different! It's like peeing yourself in a black pair of pants she said! It gives you a LOVELY warm feeling but no-one really notices!))

new asus laptops use UEFI to boot into the windows partition with windows 8

you need to go into bios; disable UEFI booting and then enable normal boot from cd option. that will allow you install windows 7.
