I'm hoping that we are too far north to get the worst of the wind. The house is surrounded by scaffolding, after having the guttering, soffits and facing replaced. They were going to come and take it down tomorrow, if the wind is bad enough, it might do it for them.

na, leave it up, it'll be good for re tiling and re building chimney's. Then you will need new gutters, facia, soffits etc, once this blow has gone through. Last time I see a few chimney's go through roofs, what floor do you sleep on?

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

"Tally ho" no waves here either but 4 big tree in the garden are still in full leaf and are moving about a bit.

Lucky the wind is blowing away from the main building so apart from one tree which could just clip my lounge I should able to sleep safe.

The other three could take out a bit of garden wall but thats only grade 2 listed and I've got some spare bricks.

It#s been blowing a hooley all day but I've just popped out and it's now relatively calm. Most strange.

A quick look on XC and it's not just here. Most of the big arrows have gone - for now.
