I don't know who has been talking but I keep getting offers of instant, longer, bigger etc erections from a GUY ( ) called Erasamus.

 

When I tried to have my email taken off it came up with can't find etc but suggested I look at

I would like to find a way for a non computer geek/smartass/cleaver sod to wind these people up.

 

I had one the other day (U.S.A) offering to lend me $30.000 now that was just the amount that I wanted for a project so filled in the form at great length but had it rejected because I did'nt have the Mayor of New Yorks phone number all the rest of the details were mine They have not made another offer

Bigger longer fatter last longer and various other words relating to my todger, but I say why do I need all this?

I'm not complaining.....if the want to sell there wares they should try my girlfriend, but then again she ain't complaining.

 

 

I have all sorts of spam but use 'Mailwasher' and it sorts out the crap from my friendly stuff.

 

 

Mind you the diet emails make me smile.

They talk to you as if they know you, funny really cos a bloody diet ain't going to be much use if you can't eat ion the first place.

Anyone sends you an email, it holds it and sends an email back to the sending address, asking them to confirm that they are a genuine sender.

 

(Even if the spammer isn't forging a return address, they aren't set up to respond.)

 

If the email is from a non-spammer, they validate that they are who they say they are, the email is allowed to get through to you, then any further emails from that validated address are allowed through without need for further validation.

 

Spammers just get their emails bounced.

ps I'm not using it because I get scores of unsolicited, one off, emails from genuine enquirers, and validation may be daunting for some of them, but if you have a reasonably small circle of people, who you talk to often, this will stop the torrents of spam without causing too much disruption to your family and mates.

Thanks Leon, I am waiting for my main man to come over and sort a few problems out for me the main one being that since I installed the camera programe the computer can't find the scanner even though the scanner is sat ontop of the machine :confused:

I never know if I should "open" or "save" these things

 

This is a classic case of why it is such a good idea to have a techy section
