Techy Outlook Question

Elton

Recommended Posts

I don't use Outlook, so am not familiar with it.

I use an old mailing script on one of my sites called RobMail.

Mails received here are fine.

However, Outlook users receive them with no 'author' or subject details.

But, when they reply, the from, to and subject details are there in the reply.

Can anyone explain this?

Cheers,

Elton

For clarity, MS Outlook (part of the MS Office suite) or Outlook Express?

If Outlook, send me a test to newt.vail@pmusa.com and if Outlook Express, send me a test at nvail@ctc.net and I'll take a detailed look at the post(s).

Cheers, Newt - sent to both.

Don't worry if there's nothing obvious - we're currently looking at a different script.

All the best,

The OE mail client at home shows it correctly.

Will find out about the Outlook client tomorrow evening and let you know.

Got both emails to OE and Outlook and every thing looked to be in order. Problem has to be on the user's end.
