Spam help please

I've been sent an email (spam I expect) which is taking ages to download, so long in fact that OE times out before receiving it. Its creating a backlog of mail behind it & I'm expecting some important mail. Is there anything I can do to get rid of it.

Nothing right now except call your ISP I expect.

 

For the future, you might like things better if you were running mailwasher. It will allow you to deal with posts while they are still on the server to include deleting them if you want.

Do you have the facility to read your mail online? If so, log in and delete it.

Hi David, you could try this website Mail2web It worked for me when I got sent a huge email, and I was unable to delete it any other way. If I remember correctly I needed to use the advanced login.....anyway,worth a go if you get stuck !!
