hi im new to pole fishing and just bought my first pole. A grandeslam carbo copetition 11m. As i was putting it together i noticed the top 3 sections seem telescopic (not what i expected) whilst the rest of the pole are slide over sections. The problem i have is the top section is extremly thin and solid for most part and i cant understand how you could get an elastic fitted to this section at all and im wondering if iv bought the wrong kind of pole. Any advice would be great
