I thought you were talking about Jupiter?

Venus is below the horizon, it's Altair that you can see and yes that's SW.

Jupiter is about to show itself to the NE well it would if it wasn't so cloudy. ;o)

I thought you were talking about Jupiter?

I was until you said

Venus is very easy to spot at present just as the light starts to go. In the South Eastern sky but soon dropping below the horizon

I actually checked back just before you posted to make sure I wasn't being a grammar nazi - I wasn't.

Venus is below the horizon, it's Altair that you can see and yes that's SW.

It is now but it was definately Venus that I was looking at when I posted.

Actually, looking at it was a bit of a worry !

I was seeing a single point of light with both eyes or with my left eye but saw it as a broken ring of light with the right eye - not good.

Looks like its back to the eye hospital.

No North East. The bright object you can see SW is Altair. Right now Jupiter is below the horizon NNE. Venus has dropped below the SSW horizon at present. Neptune and Uranus are between East and South at present although I'd guess they aren't visible to the naked eye.

All these positions can vary it all depends on what time you look out/up.

There's a really good download to see what's up there, called Stellarium.

iPad and Android have apps called Night Sky. All are full of info for budding stargazers.

Blackberry has droid sky view which looks good but its a bit nippy to see if it works ,you point the tablet in your the direction you want and the night sky is displayed

Someone who either delights in pointing out your grammatical errors or deliberately misconstues your meaning because you used language incorrectly - the sort of person who would say "No, it's in my pocket" when a train guard asks "Can I see your ticket" instead of "May I see your ticket".

speellin, what's this about .......tues or whatever :busted_cop:

Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..
