It is flagged as a corporate version.

As far as I can tell, the only difference is that you can save it to disc, handy if you have more than one machine.

The single user version auto installs, so is more suitable for the computer illiterate general public.

The single-user, auto-install version is also smaller so it will load faster but the corporate version will just install the parts you need so it works fine.

One nice feature of the SP is that in addition to all the extra security protection, it also seems to make the PC run a bit faster.

It will be a critical update so yes, you should get it.

Microsoft advises setting up automatic update so that you will receive it when it's ready.

Installed the corporate version last night. Over an hour to download on a wide pipe and nearly as long to install. Left the re-boot until this morning to finished the job off, no problem.

Came to log on and the XP firewall blocked everything, disabled it, am running Zonealarm so was not too worried. Still not able to log on. Second re-boot and everything is now fine.

The bonus is that the machine is running faster, just as Newt said earlier.

Definately recommend this upgrade.
