Spam!

Alan,

Whatever you do, do not be tempted to buy Norton Anti-Spam. A friend of mine had the same problem as you and bought it...it still downloads all the spam from your ISP's mail server and then puts them in your deleted folder. It is a pain to set your client to receive email only from people you know because you will miss all those emails from your long lost cousins in Australia or whatever. You know sometimes the best thing to do is to create a new email address, a bit of a pain because you have to mail everyone and let them know your new address but what a great feeling to open your email client and find zero spam!

It is to be observed that 'angling' is the name given to fishing by people who can't fish.

If GOD had NOT meant us to go fishing, WHY did he give us arms then??

Seems few people want a Gmail account. I've sent out 7 invitations in a week and only one has been taken up. I suppose I have to wait for the 3 weeks option period to be taken up before the unwanted invites are renewed.

I suppose the invites could have been obstructed by SPAM filters!!!!!!!!

There should be an invite in your inbox.

I've got 1 left at present.

You cannot access Gmail through Outlook Express. My homepage is set to my Gmail inbox.

The only glitch I have is that the link, that turns up now and again, to invite a friend, won't work until I have signed out and signed back in again.

The support service were very quick with the answer but I later found it in the help section anyway.

Once you have given them some feedback, good or bad, you seem to be allowed to invite others to join.

Have now down loaded this G-mail thanks Jim
