Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

Personally, I wouldn't mind a cold snap...

In my shed I have winter thermals for the whole family capable of dealing with temperatures as low as -25 c so should the cold weather arrive I can cope.

If the cold spell is going to be comparable to the big freeze in the winter of 2010/2011 then I am sure we will cope.

If it does get exceptionally cold and for a long period remember to check up on any of your elderly or infirm neighbours. In my village we offer the elderly shopping trips, town runs and transport to any medical appointments free of charge.

Chesters, firstly the berry crop predicting a hard winter is an old wives' tale. The crop depends on past conditions, not future ones.

Plus tree species that find their crops predated have developed a strategy.

If they produced the same amount of crop each year, the predator species population would expand so that very little of their crop would result in seedlings.

So, they are meagre with the amount of food they produce most years, keeping the feeding of predators low, then every so often there will be a mast year, when they produce so much fruit that the predator population can't hope to eat it all, and lots of fruit is able to produce seedlings.

How do you think we would get on with one of those?

Easy we have food for 3 months at least ,if the power fails we have lamps of many types with a couple of months fuel ,tricky with the freezerz though but if its that cold we will store the food in the garden

Gas heaters running off calor .

The gas supply rarely fails so heating and cooking of a sort is still present ,it wont be the first time the oven was the main heater ,as a kid it was a regular occurence

My old man was terrified of fire (something to do with his navy days?) so it was a rare day when the fire was lit ,i can only remember a couple of times

The hot water came from an ascot

Thinking about the freezers on full cooling our two three way fridges will freeze everything solid so if we had more calor we could use those

Blue is fine indoors ,i could be breaking the law in the land of the free

Talking of 1963 i cannot remember being cold ,the chimneys were boarded over (along with the banisters as was the fashion)

The only heater in the house was an electric heater in the front room ,never on as us kids were forbidden to venture in there as it was for guests (that rarely appeared) .

The first central heating we had was here in the village there was none at any home we lived in up till i left home at 17 and only since 1986 we had it albeit oil fired as an adult

Kids today dont know what cold is ,getting dressed under the covers (if you took them off at all) was normal and if you lay shivering under your single blanket the best you could expect was your coat put on top

Hints for a certain monty python sketch

ohh bu@@er big cod, that's gonna do the bass and angling trust's argument of poor recruitment argument no good at all. They want hell to freeze over so they can offer up nice new restrictions on all uk bass fishing.

Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

You must be a lot older than me Chesters. I don't remember it at all, I was only three years old. I know that we had electric blankers, a Start-o-Matic and tons of logs for the fire and rayburn.
