how do you reboot your hard drive, i want to wipe every thing clean as i have ammassed so much crap.

Formatting (not rebooting) you hard drive is very straight forward. What is vital though is that you have made a backup up of all the files you need & more importantly that you have all of the drivers/software for all of your hardware (printers, scanners etc)

If you are (re)installing XP, then you also need to make sure your machine is setup to boot from a CD ROM.

Do a search on google about formatting & reinstalling before you go ahead.

Why not just buy a new hard drive?

They are cheap now and when it's up n running transfer the bits you want from your old drive.

Format the old one when you have finished and you have a spare drive for emergencies. :)
