Still Network Problems

yeah great john, but I reformatted a few weeks back and tried the network before reistalling sp2 just ran with sp1 as we used to, just to see if it was sp2 but no joy its crazy the hardware side of things is as it was so I dont' like yourself think it's a hardware prob.

if this all went wrong with SP2 upgrade you may be falling foul of the 'new' firewall install.

I would disconnect it all, remove all the networking stuff in control panel / networking and start again after powering down.

Jealousy: totally irrational anger directed at people who happen to be richer, prettier, thinner, cleverer and more successful than you are.
