Thankyou everyone

narrowed the selection down from the 105billion from a google search :D:D:D

 

i made a basic site using publisher (rubbish really) Im getting Frontpage so i'll give that a try before coming back to the other recommendations.

Ive had a couple of offers for people to build it but i would really prefer to do it myself and learn as i go along, though been no computer wiz it usually take me a while to figure things out. (god knows how many hours i spend sat starring at this screen totally confused :rolleyes: )

I use Frontpage and Xara. My websites arent brilliant but they work. If you want any help with frontpage you may email me anytime or just ask here im sure other people know the inns and outs of it.

 

Ive only had a site on bravehost for a couple of weeks but I thought they were ok. Or am I missing something? Is the whole thing about to collapse???

Mmmm without being too critical that's not in the same sort of league as I need to be honest. The site is ok as far as it goes but not my cup of tea. But I bet it was cheaper eh!!??

It is to be observed that 'angling' is the name given to fishing by people who can't fish.

If GOD had NOT meant us to go fishing, WHY did he give us arms then??

(If you can't help out someone in need then don't bother my old Dad always said! My grandma put it a LITTLE more, well different! It's like peeing yourself in a black pair of pants she said! It gives you a LOVELY warm feeling but no-one really notices!))

Just the page is mine not the site - Chris. The page serves it's purpose as a simple update. As for the site I know he paid for it but im not sure how much.

 

What sort of quality are you looking at chris? Id like to take a look at something considered good/professional as Id like to continue learning.

 

This one is my very first attempt. Again not brilliant but it serves its purpose and only took a couple of hours to do .

Well matey!! Apart from the obvious spelling mistake (Only GOD allowed to be 100% all the time?) (Calender) It looks pretty good!! Loads quick and you can READ the text which for me is the biggest nono! Not bad!!

What I really need is something like Elton has fo his shops. Now I know they came for free but despite asking he just isn't taking the hint! Welllllllll That and he is a TAD busy :D Or so i believe!! He DID have a week of not so long snce to go FISHING of all things!! :rolleyes: But, seiously, something along the lines of Eltons or perhaps the wotsit tackle site that he is forever plugging!! (So famous I forgot the name!!)

But if you are interested go ahead matey!! Lots of tackle for the man that can and does!!

I thought you were joking at first chris as I ran the spell checker over that and read it many times ( I did get the year wrong though). Then I realised I hadn't checked the nav bar.
