League table in Excel

Do any of you know how I'd go about creating a league table in Excel in which an individuals position within it would change as competitors points tally change? Got a horrible feeling it will involve macro's and other such things that I wouldn't have a clue about.

Data menu then sort or simply sort a/z-> on the toolbar buttons.

Whilst were on the subject has anybody figured a way to calculate in pounds and ounces.

Wouldn't these suggestions only sort a single column out though? What I need is for the whole competitors row to sort as his points tally change i.e. to move up and down the table.

Brilliant. Cheers all for your input. Simple when you know how isn't it? :D
