Hi there,

this is a question from a mate of mine, I will let him tell the story.

 

I have a region2 DVD player from JVC - How do I go about changing this to become region-free?

best thing to do is for him to put the full make and model number into google along with words such as 'region free mod' or 'region free hack' that would let him know if it's one of the namy players that can be modded using a code from the remote, or if it needs more serious modification. my money would be on that it can be modded via a code on the remote, very easy and 100% free!
