errrm. I cannot copy and paste onto a n for some reason, have the mods got fed up with me? :busted_cop:

 

Or do I need to look at me settings as a n is the only forum web site I cannot use copy and paste, regards miserable barry.

can't remember if I have. my mate has had the computer and cleaned it out getting rid of loads of rubbish etc. I can paste onto other web sites, so again why just a n.

there is no fix mate;

its old code in the AN site not being compatible with IE11 (if that's the issue)

resolution for now is to use another browser like Chrome or Firefox.

if however your not running ie11 then try downloading and running CCleaner and letting it clean up your ie files etc

if your saying a friend has had the unit to clean it all up maybe he has missed something....

FYI - I have just purchased a new HP ??? with Windows 8.1.

 

Cut and paste seems to work for me but the screen goes through a few gyrations before the "allow access" thingy comes up on AN.

 

I'm afraid if you ask me I won't have a clue to either the question or the answer. I'm really just poking and hoping right now. To boot - and make things work it's touch screen and keyboard. All I can say is you better not sneeze booger at it. No telling what you'll get back.

I found that if you enter a string of characters, highlight the string entered and right click on the highlighted string, it allows the paste option overwriting the highlighted string.
