On Suffolk coast we have a rather large thunder storm, heavy rain and gusty wind.

In about an hours time are due clear sky and frost.

I see on Facebook that Lyn Hurst had a lucky escape when her car was smashed by a tree that came down on her bonnet as she was driving

We have a category 2 cyclone right now. Well, it was at 4 AM, as the eye crossed the coast some 130 km north of us it was at cat 2.

 

Wind gusts to 60 knots.
