Watching the Tour De France yesterday and they showed a shot from a river the race crossed over.

 

Group of yaks spelled out Vive Le Tour in block letters. 4 boats to make the letter "V" to give you an idea of the size of the thing.

 

Interesting to see.

I saw it as a brief bit of footage on television and unfortunately wasn't taping the show.

 

But if you get in touch with http://www.olntv.com/ and tell them is was shown on the stage 4 or 5 or 6 race, they might be able to help.

 

I remember it as the 2nd stage that spent lots of time crossing over or running alongside a nice river. I was puzzled at the total lack of shore anglers along miles & miles of very nice looking water.
