Hi Loudy,

I use the Ringers hook pellets and also sometimes find them a bit on the soft side, even for pole fishing. They have to be handled and shipped out with care when freshly opened.

A good way round this is to leave a few out in the sun for a short while (assuming it's sunny!) and you will find the pellets will harden where the sun has caught them. This makes them stay on the hook far better I found.

Also, if the lid is firmly snapped closed tightly, the pellets will keep for ages in a cool dry place. I deal for those times when you don't use a full tub in one session.
