The ones that are bought from commercial captures, I would feed to me enemies or throw in the bin.

however the ones we used to do personally were top notch grub. Don't ya just love interfearing ...............ds

Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

I remember the 'consultation' well Leon, if I hadn't dug pretty deep into another report, few on here would have known about it, it was so well hidden. If I remember correctly less than 1000 anglers took part in the online survey, and about half of those that voted for it were just repeating the sensationalist reports from the angling media. The whole consultation was a farce from beginning to final outcome.

John.

The trust where allowed to negotiate with the ea even after the consultation had come to a close, the rsa where not consulted as you rightly said it was hidden in amongst the fresh water take ban consultation that the trust were allowed to provide their wants to the e a after the consultation had closed. It was the trust who provided detail of what fish was to be banned, I have that on foi. At the time the trust claimed it was discussed within their sea committee, it wasn't, that was amended to a letter passed on to the committee.

I also understand that the trust asked their members, not all the anglers or rsa whom they claim to rep if the take ban is to continue, 11 responded with a yes.

Now this report from yesterday confirming that there really isn't a need for an angling take ban, there never was in the first place as it was confirmed and agreed even then, that the take was insignificant in any event. about time the trust started repairing some of the collateral damage caused.

 Strange that although it was considering the taking of eels from estuaries and coasts the A T only asked freshwater publications and coarse license purchasers to take part in surveys on whether the taking of eels by anglers should be banned. Nobody asked me to run a survey in the Sea Angling News, didn't they want the opinions of sea anglers or had they already decided to agree with the EA to ban the taking of eels from the sea? It's no wonder that the majority of sea anglers don't join the AT as they obviously feel sidelined and unwanted by them. :bye2:
