not a member but still able to receive their news releases for no cost (amazing).

yes done mine Norm, had difficulty in limiting what I wanted to get across, I think it was also a test to see how much they can charge the angler for what they errrrm achieve for the angler.

To keep this on topic, yes I did have a say about the eel take ban and the tope for that matter. :rtfm:B)

Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

yup, still anglers are sending them back dead, thanks to TAT and their nose poking, and advice to send even the deep hooked ones back. Pathetic. Don't tell ices about all the eel that has shown in u k waters for the last two seasons. And I also note their hasn't been any count offered up from the upper thames since TAT and co used the fifty count before they helped in the angling take ban.

And as for TAT and ices just look at the bass stock shiet where they are nose poking on that one. Just because they can't get to the real problem they still insist on pathetic home grown legislation that won't be fit for purpose, much the same as when they poked their useless nose in re the angling take ban on the eel.

If the eel is still in such a parlous state isn't it about time TAT and the Aquila club promoted no fishing, angling for them at all. That would save dead and dying eels being sent back. As the famous saying goes 'every one counts'.

Or is it a selfish case of don't do as I do, do as I tell you, just like horseman is promoting on the bass stock.

It might well fly in the face of the eel take ban merchants, but they have got it wrong. When I talk to the few remaining ell fishermen I know there are plenty of eels about. As I said in a previous post this is the classic case of people trying to manage something that nature is perfectly capable of managing as is the case with most fisheries management. Nature and fisheries economics cannot make a much worse mess of things than the EU and a bunch of fisheries scientists, so it would be a lot cheaper to leave it to nature and sack the rest of them.

Happy New Year everyone

Yup, having read the enclosed junk all it is saying throughout is the lack of info from the scientists point of view with regards to an accurate assessment, again from their point of view. More money needs to be thrown at it, or someone else or country is lacking in providing detail etc. etc. So, yet again we have scientists at best guessing. Yet when the likes of TAT assisted in the eel take ban for anglers, there was a very robust scream and shout from those doing the pushing for the ban, (every one counts etc) they where quick to use counts to rely on pushing for the ban, for example at the top end of the thames, 50 eel where counted at that time.

So don't 'p' about what are the latest counts? pound to a penny there will be no reply, so is the guardian report of 3 good years to be rubbished or not?
