Not a poodle surely?
Almost certainly a water spaniel and probably Irish Water Spaniel like this one.

Yep, French Poodle. Suprisingly, they're proper dogs - unlike the little yappy bugg3rs that old ladies seem to think look better dyed pink to match their hair !

Thats a Standard Poodle Newt :) (my mum used to show the Toy poodles).

I wasn't sure if the other one was a minature poodle, but they do look close.

Sorry to all who said my picture was a poodle but an Irish Water Spaniel it was. I like Greg's cocker although I'm a little more accustomed to seeing different coloration and a little bit more fluffy fur.

However, even though the picture does look quite a bit like a standard poodle even to the show cut, it ain't.

And mine in a 'Jenny Morgan'! Peculiar to the Norfolk Broads, yet it features a Welsh lady of questionable repute. Apparently Jenny Morgan was a bit of a 19th centuary goer in Norwich, possibly something to do with the music hall, and possibly to do with Morgans brewery.

Whatever the reason, wherry skippers took a shine to her, possibly in response to their antics behind the boatsheds, and the so vanes that were carried on wherry mastheads, a wherry being a Broadland cargo carrier, popularly featured the image of 'Jenny'.

A 'wherry' being one of these things:
