Phew - glad it's not a major problem. That kind of thing must happen quite a bit I suppose? No big fish in there, I guess they behave differently.

 

Bright side - hungry big perch?

We are not putting it back it is a lump now put that curry down and go and get the scales

have I told you abouit the cruise control on my Volvo ,,,,,,,bla bla bla Barder rod has it come yet?? and don`t even start me on Chris Lythe :bleh::icecream:

Always wondered if fish did venture further than the riverbanks during floods. Sad to see, I hope it's not too widespread. The media say it wont do too much damage in the long run but I wouldn't trust their word 100%. Could well be right but I'm sure some on here have a better idea on things either way.

Started coarse fishing February last year, species so far:

 

Roach, Rudd, Bream, Tench, Perch, Carp, Gudgeon, Eel, Crucian and a Goldfish.

Don't worry lads, there'll be plenty of pond pigs washed into the river, to compensate, so all's not lost. :fish:

Fished there today managed a solitary Roach but I am sure it will be fine when it stabelises condition wise
