This happens every summer, sometimes more than once. Guys get in a hurry to get somewhere else before dawn and forget that there might just be a pier in the way, or they set their GPS waypoint inside the pierheads instead of outside. Either way, they're screwed. No fish is worth this trouble. BTW, that's the south Manistee pier on Lake Michigan.
