I have often wondered why those that dislike a place and love another from afar dont fook off and live there?

Then theres the strange lot that whine at immigrants coming here and leave and do exactly the same to other residents of the unlucky country they choose

A determined country could easily take "scottish" gas they merely give the option of less tax and put a new bundle of pipes to an english location ,gas companies want profit loyalty is the last thing they have

Believe NOTHING anyones says or writes unless you witness it yourself and even then your eyes can deceive you

None of this "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" crap it just means i have at least two enemies!

There is only one opinion i listen to ,its mine and its ALWAYS right even when its wrong

Chester's I have never said I dislike the place I live in I merely said Britain is currently depressing to live in and the state of play is far from great, I lived abroad for over 25 years as a British soldier & to come back and see what it was, to see what it is now is like I say depressing, it doesn't matter what politicians you have ruling the country they are all out to line their own pockets, Scottish, English they are all the same, maybe if they looked out for the people who put them in power then they would show more respect, look at the state of Somerset & it was only because the water was encroaching into London that the government stepped in and took action, long overdue say the people of Somerset., so like I say Britain has a lot to do before we can call it great again.

Steve W,

I know nothing of this subject. Your explanation in the first couple posts makes sense to me. A question - should there be separation without a change in the current monetary system couldn't it become hyper inflation where Scotland issues notes based on notes or lines of credit?

Didn't Germany issue a 20 billion note after WWI?

Chesters1, I "love" NY city. You couldn't get me to live there for all the rice in China. A small dose of NY is plenty.

Nally. That was unexpected ?

Not to me.

The problem isn't what people don't know, it's what they know that just ain't so.
