Just picked up the latest copy of Improve your coarse fishing and there was an article about a journey that a Great white made and some of the details. Now i know a bit about the GWS, not an expert but have done some research and was amazed. Was wondering has anybody else read this or heard anything else about it??

Christ! wandering jews or what. Am I right in thinking that I seen a report of a pointer sighting in Scrabster harbour this year?

 

Mind you it may have been a figment of Mr Millers imagination :o

 

I am nearly sure the sighting came from the harbourmaster!

This was reported about 2-3 years ago, yes by the harbour staff who were convinced of the sighting and arent the type of guys to go spaffing off rubbish either.

Yep thats the one, GWS with a migratin pattern this could be interestin, they may be able to get some idea of breeding patterns and alike which would be great for conservation.

 

Ok so i am slighty obsessed with GWS

Now tyurke and his 'buddies' know there was a shark sighting, they'll probably want to catch it, shoot it and string it up on the quayside for numerous manhood enchancing troophy shots. ;)

This was mistaken ID Turns out it was a basking shark

 

I thought that sighting was genuine :huh:

Phil Britts is a well respected skipper and his crewman has seen many GWs.

Also wasn't Henry Gilbey on board too.

 

Remember something about a mangled seal being washed up and a photo of a surfer with a shark in the wave he was on.

 

Youre probably right Ian though :D
