No sign of winter here phone.

Wet and windy at times but quite mild really.

 

Oh! And looking good for some real spring weather later in the week as high pressure moves in.

We could do with a few weeks of really bad frost ,one to kill insects and the other to move coins up in the soil so i can find them ,trouble is half my fields are still waterlogged

An hour of rain and they pool the ground is so wet and its not just in the valley an old couples house has a great problem with water rising up through the floor and they are half way up a hill ,what was a damp sot in the field is now a spring covering most of it.

Five minutes digging and my trousers had put on ten pounds in weight of water and me wellies filled up nearly as mjch as the holes
