Thinking of staying over saturday and booking timsbury for the sunday, anyone else fancy this? :)

Kev,

I would phone Timsbury first to check if their season has not finished. The Itchen's season finishes on the 14th Feb, but there is no way they will turn down a group booking for obvious reasons, that is why we get it just out of season. This might be the case at Timsbury and they may not take you if it is just one or two of you. Here is the number for Timsbury. 01264 365165

I've just booked the Travelodge at Easleigh for £26 per night for a double room maximum occupancy 3 adults.

Sue and I will be staying two nights so we do not have to rush back after the fishing. I would advise any one to book early if you are staying as these offers go fairly quickly.

The URL is https://www.travelodge.co.uk

Looks like Dunk and I will be there both Friday and Saturday night as well :)

We'll be dropping in at the National Mullet Club AGM at The Mountbatten Centre in Portsmorth on the Sunday before heading back.

It's always interesting to listen to the speakers, talk to some top anglers and the chance to buy some tackle at a discount (I prefer to win prizes in the raffle!), and they always have a very good turn out.
