Chris Lythe Centrepin

I'm currently 8 months into my long wait for my Chris Lythe 'pin'.

Does anyone out there own and use a Chris Lythe pin and if you do what do you think of them? I've ordered mine for Grayling trotting on my local river but would at some time in the future like to carp fish with it and perhaps even shrimp for salmon with it.

The model i'm getting is the MM Special the name made my choice as its got my initials! but also its perfect for what I want to use it for.

I recently acquired one - lovely reel. I got mine 'second hand' (though it's never been used - until now!). I hear that CL has quite a back log of orders so I hope you're prepared for a long wait!!!

I was thinking about this the other day, I wonder how long it takes him to make one from start to finish because I charge £150+ a day for my work and surely it must take him longer than a couple of days to make each one, so really they're quite good value.
