Another blow to the poor by this Semi fascist govt. 30% cuts on legal aid.

 

Sick of this govt scathing the disabled and the poor it makes Margeret Thatcher look like a Teddy Bear....

 

All govts do it but this one is brutal!

I haven't followed the arguments over this story so can't really comment. However I agree with Dave that all governments do it.

 

I remember being against the cuts in legal aid made by Tony Blair's administration. The result was a new climate of ambulance chasing due to "no win, no fee" cases being allowed. In turn this led to higher insurance premiums.

 

Yes, it cut government spending, but the poor taxpayer paid instead.

It's an odd one. For some time now, the unemployed and the wealthy have had access to justice through legal aid and personal finances respectively. The ordinary working bloke has been disenfranchised for decades as a result of earning to much for legal aid but not being able to afford the services of a decent solicitor or barrister,so I'm not exactly sure who's going to be hurt by this.

Ofcourse legal aid is being cut for some people ,we need the money so foreigners can get legal aid so they can continually fight being sent home silly !

Believe NOTHING anyones says or writes unless you witness it yourself and even then your eyes can deceive you
