A couple of observations-

The term "Noddy" is a derisorey term coined by carp anglers to describe any none carp angler regardless of his/her skill.No getting away from it thats where it comes from.

Could have sworn it was Pikers meself.

Definately carpers. Got to remember that many pikers, top of the league blokes even, still use the ultimate badge of the Noddy! I'm sure no self respecting carper would be seen dead with one, even if they hold Fox boxes a treat. Even I've got three, the infamous blue plastic tackle box. An all time classic, transport anything, including live bait !
