New licences

Just to remind y'all in case the EA doesn't - new licence required from April 1st

I must say that this year the EA does seem to have got its act together at last and our 2014-5 licences arrived promptly - unlike the last three years.

Just got mine, and then realised that its is my 40th licence, I remember getting both a south eastern and thames for a period , but always had one for the last 40 years without fail. They should do a nectar card .

Mine will have to wait until I get back as will my club card as I'm in Malaysia at the moment.

I see that the rivers are all dropping nicely though so if I can stand the cold, I'll be looking for a little trout action when I get home.

I will be getting mine soon. I like to keep all of the old ones with the new one inside my wallet. I do like the different picture's each year. Can't wait until the evenings pull out so I can get some sessions in after work.

Started coarse fishing February last year, species so far:

Roach, Rudd, Bream, Tench, Perch, Carp, Gudgeon, Eel, Crucian and a Goldfish.

It is nice to only have to buy one these days, although I have heard rumours that a 3-rod licence might be introduced in the near future, which would be a step forward.
