I wish the Radio 4 news would start items with "in today's Chinese Grand Prix qualifying, pole position was taken by... Instead of "Fred Bloggs has taken pole in..." So if have at least half a chance of hitting the off button before the spoiler.

ohhh bum, just read the front page of the newspaper and seen the result. I was going to watch it at four this afternoon.

It's very difficult to avoid the result if you don't eschew all media until you've actually watched it.

 

If you don't watch it, you won't see Vettel being told to move over and let Ricciardo pass for the 2nd race in a row.

It makes you think that it will only take Rosberg or Hamilton to either crash or have a mechanical failure in one race or maybe 2 and it may well hand the World championship to the other.Its taken Hamilton 3 wins on the trot and he is still behind Rosberg. The two as time goes on will know that . It needs another team to somehow get in amongst them..

So far the championship is being determined by reliability, amazing how hard it is to shake off a DNF.

Someone has broken it completely now, I've tried it every couple of days without success - and all I get now is a "404 - page not found"

Engines (and all the energy recovery gubbins) are technically impressive, but I'd rather have the sound of the old V10s back or even the last lot of V8s.

 

By the end of the old turbo era, the engines were making over 1000bhp in qualifying trim from 1.5 litres!
