A while back I posted an image of an old hangar that was in the process of being demolished, of course this made the immediate surrounds look terrible.

What a difference snow, patchy fog & a watery sun make!!!

 

Peter, splendid pic. Don't see this entered in the tree photo competition. How about it? :)

Ferrett, it's interesting how different prople feel about the same [photo, I thought the forground and distance made the shot, it helped draw the eye to the angler. excellent

It was cold yesterday as this shot shows..:D

Well its not all that slow a shutterspeed, but I'm able to set whatever speed I want when manually controlling the camera. This was a hand held shot if I had gone to say 1/60 or slower I would have had to use the tripod. But for this shot I just set the aperture I wanted, then matched the shutterspeed using the lightmeter to give correct exposure. I was exposing for the icicles, not the water.:)
