Time to change the metal for some feathers, these could be the next new coloniser from the continent, there's been quite a few around the South all winter and this one's been in my area for a couple of weeks.

Spoonbill (pretty obvious really) ^_^

Ayjay, any idea who ringed it? Could be an escapee?

Not an escape Den, there's been a lot of them around for the last couple of winters, up to 17 in one place down in Devon, most of the ringed ones are of Dutch origin. This one was probably ringed as a nestling at Schiermonnikoog, Oosterkwelder on 21-05-07, (but I'd need to check back through loads of emails to be 100% certain that it's the exact same one).
