Time to resurrect this topic maybe.   A Wheatear, (migrating in for the summer) it was very close to where I parked for a walk yesterday and was still around when I got back, so I got the camera out

Ayjay, I see that bird is ringed. Is that normal? I don't think I've ever seen anything other than swans and pigeons with rings...

I'm really glad that you like them. I don't claim any skill nor training in photography, but I do take lots, usually while fishing and we have some spectacular landscapes.

 

I just saw the moonrise at th end of a dead baiting session and clicked away, this is the sequence...
