Time to resurrect this topic maybe.   A Wheatear, (migrating in for the summer) it was very close to where I parked for a walk yesterday and was still around when I got back, so I got the camera out

Nice pics all of 'em.

 

Update to the lack of birds in my garden recently...looked out this morn and there was a GINGER CAT hiding under the shrubs near the bird feeders.................I'm gonna commit murder.....

I have a handy blow pipe with darts about 6 inches long.

This was taken a while ago whilst walking around the Frimley Hatches Nature reserve. It isn't one of my better macors (don't think I've got all of her legs in), but I really like the droplets of water caught in the web.

 

Wonderful picture. To me the spider was secondary to the picture - I was in awe of the water droplets first and then noticed the spider.
