A good weekend at the Sunday Trash & Treasure Market.

15 orchids most of them in 8inch pots for $45 the lot,and most of them in flower.

Time to resurrect this topic maybe.   A Wheatear, (migrating in for the summer) it was very close to where I parked for a walk yesterday and was still around when I got back, so I got the camera out

Good cymbidiums, mate. A great pity that we can't grow them up in Mackay.....have to put the pseudobulbs in a 'fridge for 6 weeks to simulate their flowering. :blink::blink:

HellBelly has a similar shot he really likes but it's not half as good as that. Very very nice.

 

We only have a Sony P100, thinking about getting a Canon Eos next, don't know much about cameras myself, but I still think it's not just a great camera that gets a shot like that. Well done.

I hate getting up early, I didn't even realise there were two 6 o'clocks in one day!

I bought the D400 last week and have to say I'm not over-impressed with the results so far. Guess I'll have to properly read the manual then..... :P

Great shot Saul, beautiful where is the location if your do not mind me asking.

Fishing seems to be my favorite form of loafing.

I know the joy of fishes in the river through my own joy, as I go walking along the same river.

 

What do you think if the float does not dip, try again I think.
