Blimey, I've never taken spare batts out with me. On a full charge I can use the camera solid for 2 days without any problems (that includes downloads to pc direct from camera).

you want to get yourself one of those big lithium ion jobbies on a strap round your neck david

Jon,

I have a Quantum Turbo for the flash too, it plugs into the gun to speed up the recycling time, also extends the battery life. It's 12 volts and like a small car battery on my belt.

I've been to Scrabster... and I want to go back!!!

i have AA 2500's but strangley the rechargables double battery that comes with the fuji cradle (sold seperatly) is 1900 mA it has a lesser capacity than the 2300's that came with the camera  trouble is if you use the cradle you must use its dedicated battery

whilst rechargebles have always shown the capacity of the battery ordinary ones dont so we have to believe a certain brand lasts longer (infact costwise they dont ) because they dont actually show its capacity (nor any others on the market) to compare to another

i have 4 spare 2500's for the camera but even the supplied batteries have allowed me to fill a 512 Mb card without changing ,i feel sorry for camera users with those strange and expensive batteries :(
