The vans not clever it can be the equivalent of it screaming for attention (wink)

I suspect in the near future a warning light will be an mot failure ,its already on the slippery slope

My head bailiff spotted his oil warning light coming on going round a corner at speed ,i pointed out the oil was getting low ,he asked how i knew ,because your oil warning light came on cornering at speed i told him ,unfortunately its not obligatory to know whats under your bonnet in the test or more importantly how it works

Modern cars are far to complicated ,my sons diesel has a plethora of sensors and few are really nedded a diesel engine only has to run until it stops its not a very complicated engine after all ,but today a sensor gets moody and the fooking things goes into limp home mode and a garage is needed to

know why ,nice work for agents i think ,even the bloody fuel pump needs programming if its changed, bloody rip off

Ofcourse are european masters are bringing such dictats they (the european countries)own some car companies so they get back handers for doing so from them

Corruption is not only our lot getting fat envelopes

I had a read (and a count-up) through my car's handbook today whilst waiting for the wife to get back, over 70 different fault lights are possible and quite a few other warning lights which are not actual faults.

I've no idea how they fit them all on the dash display - some areas must be capable of showing anything rather than just having a specific sign that lights up.

Only seen low fuel, low washer fluid, low outside temperature and a blown bulb so far - (and I couldn't find that anyway and it's not come back again since).
