Saw this on another place. Bet they dont come cheap.. Maybe we are in line for a Yankie PM soon !

Meanwhile, neither party has campaigned in this area for the forthcoming MEP elections.

 

By contrast, UKIP is busy (we have had two mailings already) with a dangerously simplistic message

 

Quote - We fight to protect you from Labour's incompetence over immigration; from Tory over-development in the southeast; from Liberal appeasement to Brussels and from the Greens' crippling "environmental" taxes.

 

Lots of Mail, Sun and Express readers will swallow that. Like Alf Garnet's beliefs, there is just enough half-truth there to make it plausible - and its what such readers want to hear,

 

The major parties are sleepwalking into an election shock - let's hope they learn enough to inject some reality into their 2015 campaigns.

Dave, as a pensioner like yourself I am relatively untouched by all that goes on outside my little world, so I will very likely give the UKIP a vote............just to wake the others up :)

I can't work out whether the conservative response to UKIP is cynical or just missing the point. They are saying they will further tighten immigration rules.

 

UKIP - we have no front door

Tories - we will make the back door even harder to get through

 

Cynically, perhaps they think that the voters UKIP have attracted by campaigning on immigration don't understand the issues and will be swayed by any policy which sounds hostile to immigrants. UKIP have not been especially careful to articulate that their position is not about immigration per se.

I spotted an advert for undertakers at the top .

There used to be an advert for one on the local buses to hawkinge ,it was mainly stating you could trust them to give you a great send off ,some wag had written very neatly on everyone you spotted ,"xxxxxx & sons the last to let you down" great play on words

Believe NOTHING anyones says or writes unless you witness it yourself and even then your eyes can deceive you

None of this "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" crap it just means i have at least two enemies!
