Starlight experiment.

Some of us were discussing a while ago using a starlight near the hook for night attraction.

Well i've tried it for the first time a week ago.

I caught 9 whiting, plus two other odd bites that couldn't be reeled in.

Now this proves that fish are not put off by starlights, don't know if I would have caught less without them.

Next trip for Bass, I've rigged up a pennel with the starlight between the two hooks.

Half a mackerel fillet on there, and we will see!

Anyone else tried it?

One advantage is you can see the tackle approaching the beach by the glow under the water. Very handy  .

The distance you cast Mike, I'm surprised you can't see the light, when it resting under the water...heh....heh :P
