Some folks do seem to be quirky about food.

 

The soon to be ex- Mrs Stubbs on holiday in France decided she wanted to eat lamb for dinner.

There was only one dish with lamb on the menu so she decided against my protestations that she should trust my judgment on this and not go for it.

 

She insisted she knew best and duly ordered it.

 

2 mouthsful later she said 'This doesn't taste much of lamb, and it doesn't look like lamb either. What is it?'

 

I declined to tell her on the grounds that I had better things to do in life than say 'I told you so', and I'd have still been in the wrong anyway!
