Slapton Ley, an interesting story of what can happen to a water-body that has "suffered" through natural and unnatural events. It's been a reserve for 55 years but fishing was only temporarily stopped in 2005. Fortunately, things are picking up for fish and other wildlife....whilst the sandbar survives...building Devonport docks from the shingle in the bay probably shortened the life of that!

Eating wild caught fish is good for my health, reduces food miles and keeps me fit trying to catch them........it's my choice to do it, not yours to stop me!
