Hmmm - interesting stuff. I have done a bit of this and a bit of that over the 45 years I've been in the work force.

Today, computer network and large server administration is bringing in the bulk of my income.

Tomorrow, hopefully the web based sites with stuff to sell we are just starting will allow me to quit mucking about with large computers and working for someone else.

Past jobs include butcher in a grocery store as a youngster; medic in the US Navy with a stint assigned to a Marine Corps EOD (explosive ordnance disposal) team in Viet Nam, a longer stint in the US Coast Guard as a shipboard medic, and some years as a medical clinic administrator.

So for any who are wondering if they can change occupations and make a go of the new one, I'd say yes. Jan & I started the internet business after I turned 60 y/o and life is more interesting now than it has been in a while.

" My choices in life were either to be a piano player in a whore house or a politician. And to tell the truth, there's hardly any difference!" - Harry Truman, 33rd US President
