examine those packets closely some "slimming" products (not neccessarily marked "slimming" but giving the impression of it) actually has more fat than ordinary stuff ,i cant see how they get away with it.

slimming to me (was put on a low fat diet last year) just means eating food without taste ,to enjoy taste eat buckets of those sour jelly sweeties no fat at all (hey the doc didnt say eat no sugar)

Believe NOTHING anyones says or writes unless you witness it yourself and even then your eyes can deceive you

None of this "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" crap it just means i have at least two enemies!

There is only one opinion i listen to ,its mine and its ALWAYS right even when its wrong

Its far easier to curse the darkness than light one candle

Anyone watch That Paul Mckenna diet programme the other day? He had some good principles behind some of his admissions on weight loss and most of it was about retraining your body and mind in the way you think about and eat food. For E.G. he did an experiment where he invited 5 people for a morning fryup, they all enjoyed it and finished everything, the next day he invited them back for the same thing but this time they were blindfolded to eat it, they all left something on the plate this time, most didnt enjoy the breakfast, and they all ate slower, so basically we eat with our eyes, its not as tempting when you cant see it. Have you ever noticed when you open say a block of cheese from its cellophane wrapper, take a chunk from it then wrap it in foil to protect it you nearly always forget about it or just dont have the desire to eat what you cant see. Ive taken this principle to another level i have taken all the labels off the tinned goods in the larder and can only have one tin a day, they range from custard to peas and beans, ive just had breaded plaice with unsweetened rubarb and new potatoes. Dave

Life is rather like a tin of sardines - we're all of us looking for the key.
