Ice hockey is most definitely a bloody sport. When I lived in St. Louis we used to go see the Blues play. If there weren't puddles of blood on the ice it just wasn't a good game no matter who actually won. :bye2:

I love shooting sport but have nothing like those. I used to cover ice hockey (the Fife Flyers) in the old days of film, now it's more football I do. You can't beat sitting at a football match in the middle of december, no light, sleet falling sideways and all the action at the other end from you... these are the days you wonder about your sanity :)

I've been to Scrabster... and I want to go back!!!

that is so gross!

great photos though

when i was into motorsport i got one of my tutors at college to blag me a day of advice from that nice chap at Autosport and took some great stop motion pix on a friends olympus with a 600mm mirror lens and only fence posts for tripods - i'll try and look them out and scan them in... the best bit of advice he gave me was where to stand for the best uninterrupted views actually
